- In coordination with the Executive Director of CURF, set philosophy and strategy for technology licensing outcomes and approaches.- Manage and oversee the day-to-day licensing activities of technology transfer, including triage process for new inventions, patenting strategy and marketing technologies to companies.- Develop and implement communication strategy to promote and raise the visibility of university technology transfer and CURF with stakeholders.- Liaison to Office of Industry Contracts and the University Intellectual Property Committee in matters related to intellectual property licensing.

During tenure, have led product and business development strategies for this start-up concern. Managed all aspects of operations and business development activities, including business planning, budgeting, capital fund raising, grant writing, and establishing external R&D relationships.

Utilizing expertise and relationships provide product development and product life cycle management consulting services to early and mid-staged companies seeking to transition or expand their technology and product portfolios into various segments of the life sciences industry (diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals).

Provided a variety of technology transfer and commercialization services to government (NASA, DHS, DoD), university and corporate technology transfer offices (TTOs).

Leadership role developing and implementing the Office of Technology Commercialization's Standard Operating Procedures for soliciting, analyzing, protecting, and commercializing University developed technologies. Managed a highly complex portfolio of over 120 individual technologies from invention disclosure through patent prosecution and eventual commercialization resulting in multiple technology "spin-out" companies.

Functioned as a liaison between Research & Development and the end-user market (customers) to communicate areas in need of improvement for newly released and existing products, as well as identifying new product development and line-extension opportunities.

Provided Research & Development client support and chemical/biological defense technical consulting services to the Department of Defense (DoD) Chemical Biological Defense Command.
