I graduated from the University of Georgia in Dec. 2009 with two bachelor's degrees: B.A. Spanish and A.B.J. Newspapers.

I worked on-site at one of our Athens, Ga clients, Home Depot. My responsibilities included creative arrangement and constant maintenance of our products, face to face customer service, inventory monitoring and general maintenance of the store's garden area and greenhouse. Working with a merchandising company allowed me to acquire specific knowledge of the industry and goods while developing my time management skills and work ethic. My direct superior and I maintained the Athens store under the indirect supervision of our regional manager.

I cooked and prepared food for large banquets as part of a team of chefs with a common goal. Teamwork, delegation and time management were critical as we prepared to meet concrete deadlines for large numbers of people. My communication and customer service skills were improved by direct interaction with patrons. At a separate kitchen on the grounds, another employee and I ran a members only kitchen at the neighborhood pool. We were relied upon to prepare all necessary food, open and close the restaurant without further assistance. Along with the teamwork skills I learned in the club's main kitchen, I learned independence and personal task management in the separate, pool kitchen.
