Upgraded the DB infrastructure to SQL Server 2005 x64 and SQL Server 2008 x64 from SQL Server 2000.Used my initiative and devised a method of rebuilding all MessageLabs SQL Server types with DB Scripts from the Live Environment. Brought the rebuild time of a week down to a day and a half.Use the Live scripts to ‘Diff’ the Test DB’s against Live to give greater confidence in the environments. This also allows the DB environments to be reset after testing has completed in half a day.Used my initiative and devised a method for DB object version numbering.
