The vast majority of the nearly $2 billion increase in asset value since I joined in January 2015 is the result of strong investment performance. Cummings Properties, the for profit real estate arm of the Cummings organization, operates in excess of 11 million square feet of commercial real estate (nearly all of which will be gifted to Cummings Foundation in the coming years). In my role at Cummings I was also involved at the leadership level with Cummings Properties' management.
