About Chris Gorges

I am an independent branding consultant, and the founder / CEO of Thompson & Prince and Everharbor. I focus on naming, logo design, visual identity / brand guidelines, messaging / positioning, marketing collateral, presentations / pitch decks, and website design & development for early-stage companies, small businesses, and non-profits.Previously, I was Managing Director at Infinia Group, where I led Infinia Ventures, a practice dedicated to the startup ecosystem (dba Rocketure 2015 - 2017). Before Infinia, I was at Havas Worldwide New York following a stint as a freelance strategy consultant at a number of creative agencies (Droga5, Clear M&C Saatchi, CHI&Partners, Firstborn). I've done strategy consulting work in brand, digital, and growth strategy for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 and the US government.Select clients include Google, IBM, Spotify, TIAA, Amtrak, Wiley, NYCEDC and the US Department of Defense.I mentor and advise startups via a number of accelerator, incubator, and VC organizations, including Big Idea Ventures, Forum Ventures, XRC Labs, RetailXelerator, VentureOut, Lambda School, First Flight Venture Center, Launch Chapel Hill, and the NYU Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship.Early in my career, I worked for IBM Global Business Services and Booz Allen Hamilton in the Washington, DC metro area.
