Chris’s knowledge, insight and enthusiasm within the music industry is second to none and he is now one of the most intuitive and experienced talent scouts in the country. With over 25 years experience as an events director, music promoter, music manager, record label owner, distributer, song writer, producer, publisher and recording studio owner, gives Chris an unique perspective about all areas of the music industry to impart his knowledge for the benefit of others.Chris began his career as a music promoter, organising tours and events for some of the UK’s most recognised dance acts including Darren Styles, Carl Cox, Andy C, Radio 1’s DJ Judge Jules, Spoony, Fabio and Grooverider. His sold out events, include a packed Wembley Arena with over 12,000 music fans and more recently the festival Live Fest at The O2 which included acts such as Zane Lowe, Tinchy Stryder, Roll Deep, Kids in Glass Houses, Stooshe, The Hoosiers, and Funeral for a Friend.After such a successful and credible run in the events industry, resulted in Chris Grayston being approached by an act to release their tracks, instigating the creation of his own record label Hectic Records. Rapidly evolving into four labels, Hectic Records quickly became known as one of the biggest dance labels in the country, boasting in excess of a 100 singles, over a million sales across the group and releasing over ten compilations and albums.
