About Chris Greco

As a go-to-market-driven CEO, I bring Fortune 500 sales and marketing experience to the growth stories of PE- and VC-backed technology-enabled challenger brands—working with boards, technical founders, CTOs, CPOs, and other leaders building companies and cultures from their earliest stages of expansion to mature enterprises.Collectively, I’ve led eight go-to-market transformations across mobile tech, telecom, cybersecurity, and food retail, including two turnarounds and six go-to-market initiatives that ignited profitable growth or retention. As CEO of Storewise, Inc.—the PE backed automation software provider that enhances profitability for independent retailers—I recruited the leadership team and we built the company, executing on the founder’s vision of bringing Big Box analytics, operational efficiency, and enhance profitability to independent retailers and ancillary verticals.Together, we turned around, scaled, and sold a healthy company for 6x multiple to Nexa Equity LLC, a software- and fintech-focused private equity firm.Earlier, I served as CMO of Simplifyy, where I supported the founder’s vision of replacing traditional property management with AI-based technology. At Symantec, I held an international sales leadership role, where I led the expansion of the cybersecurity leader’s middle-market, sell-through business into European telcos. In 2011, I joined Location Labs, where I helped scale and position the location-based technology pioneer for its $220M acquisition by AVG in 2014, and $1.3 billion acquisition by Avast in 2016.During that time, I orchestrated a growth surge of the company’s most popular mobile app that began while I was at Sprint. Under my leadership, the app became one of the highest-performing for both companies, and replicated the same success at Verizon. I began my career with one of the world’s largest telcos, running the sales teams responsible for some of their largest relationships and being tapped for two strategic projects—delivering hundreds-of-millions in aggregate ARR.A lifelong believer in the resilience and potential of humans, I’m proud to have authored “8 Steps to Overcoming Adversity,” an award-winning story of suffering and perseverance. The book was endorsed by Admiral Bill Owens, U.S. Navy (Ret), Former Vice-Chairman, US Joint Chiefs of Staff.I’ve been privileged to appear more than fifty times as a speaker on topics including leadership, technology, and culture.

Listed skills include Product Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, Product Management, and 46 others.
