Co-founded the company, built the original software products, and secured VC funding. As Chief Technologist, I defined the product vision and established the company as a technology leader in the research industry. I grew and led our engineering teams in the development of our Zoomerang, Survey Manager and CustomerSat platforms. • nGauge: Built our first online survey platform which was instrumental in securing the initial rounds of VC funding and bringing on board General Mills and Procter & Gamble as strategic partners. • Zoomerang: Created our self-serve survey platform that grew to 2 million subscribers and $10m+ in revenue. • Survey Manager: Architected enterprise survey platform and grew global engineering team. Designed systems for data APIs and real-time reporting analytics serving 10+ million survey data points per week.• CustomerSat: Oversaw the technical due diligence of the CustomerSat acquisition. Led platform architectural overhaul to achieve massive scalability, designed hierarchical role-based analytics and dashboarding system for large enterprises.

Redwing provided web-based authoring software for online training and testing. I designed and developed the platform, which included a browser-based intuitive visual interface for the design and layout of courseware. I pioneered the use of JavaScript for asynchronous in-page communication techniques enabling rich interactions and state management, prior to these techniques becoming popularized as AJAX and JSON.

American Medical Network provided innovative systems for claims management and authorization processes between primary care physicians and IPAs. I developed the platform, which included a communication network to link physicians and payors, an automated claims management system, and business intelligence software for data analysis. I invented database querying techniques and a proprietary aggregate navigation system for rapidly selecting and summarizing large volumes of data.

I designed and built the platform to power the Microsoft UK software upgrade business. The system provided product fulfillment automation, customer registration and sales databases, financial accounting, inventory management, and executive reporting.
