Project Manager responsible for delivery of multi year, multi million dollar projects.

Project Manager for medium sized initiatives for RBC which often span more than a year. I was reasonable for all aspects of the project management. Projects are delivered on time and on budget with positive feedback from the customer.I have been the technical development lead on multiple Point of Sale development projects leading full time, contractor, onshore and offshore resources.As the work package leader I am reasonable for assigning work, setting and agreeing upon a schedule with the development team and insuring the schedule is met and work completed to a high quality and all necessary checks and balances are in place. I am also constantly communicating with the project manager, progress and any potential risks/issues.As team lead I have participated in the majority of these projects from initiation to closure supporting the development team, QA team and also our client through gathering of requirements to implementation. The majority of these projects were spanned multiple years and multiple phases.The following initiatives are highlights:• Enabling Moneris to acquire, clear and settlement the Discover Card in the Canadian environment directly with Discover and their Merchants• Introduction of Maestro card into the Moneris environment.• Acquiring and settling of American Express Chip Cards.• Mandatory Compliance Releases for Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.• Several revenue generating projects for Moneris.I have considerable experience working with external vendors coordinating their releases to our schedule and ensuring their software meets Moneris business and technical requirements.I have been part of the RBC performance committee for Payment & Trade, Technology and Operations since early 2010. I have helped to recognise a number of individual and teams within my group. I have spoken on behalf of the group and coached people in creating better quarterly submissions with a great success.

I joined Moneris Solutions as a consultant after completing my assignment from the vendor.I was involved in both Production and Development Support roles. I have been involved in several upgrades to the production system including large functional changes requested by Moneris Solutions many geneating the business considerable amounts of new revenue. In addition I was involved in many Compliance changes mandated by the card associations. I was also been heavily involved in performance and tuning of the batch system. I have proposed and designed significant changes to reduce both elapsed and CPU time with process identified as problematic saving over $2 million in processing costs.I have prepared and delivered multiple training sessions to other technical analysts giving them the ability to support the core Moneris system in which I am the expert.

I original joined Euronet Worldwide (previously Sema Group) as a graduate program assigned to the development of what is now know as ACI Acquirer. In April 2006 I was based in Toronto, Canada onsite at RBC and Moneris supporting the UAT, go-live and production of a large project where Essentis is the back-office processor.My key roles and achievements here have been:• Expert in ACI Acquirer and Interchange for both the customer and other Essentis employees.• Production Installation (ACI Acquirer and Interchange).• System Test problem analysis and resolution.• Environment Support.• Production Support including real time problem resolution.I have prepared and delivered training on ACI Acquirer to technical and business focused users of the system in a classroom setting in multiple countries. In addition I acted as a mentor and hands-on teacher to any new team members.I have produced a large number of technical design documents and functional specifications. These include designing large and complex pieces of new functionality.
