Profile bio

About Chris Grippo

When I was young someone wiser than me said “Chris, you will go on to do many interesting things, see intriguing places, meet fascinating people, and from all of this you will learn; but never forget to leave the world a better place than when you found it. Go out and do something great every day!” Great advice that helped frame who I am and has guided my interactions. I am a curious by nature, always wanting to understand how something works and driven to figure it out if I don’t know. But while I strive to understand ‘the how’, I also want to know ‘the why’ and ultimately ask the question “is there a better way and have we tried it?” You cannot be afraid to dig in and ask the hard questions. Only then can you make things better. Having a career that has traversed action sports and technology I've observed and experienced various industry and customer dynamics. I have learned to adapt to a wide range of customer perceptions and needs, and employed various tactics to reach customers. And this experience I take with me in whatever I do.I believe adventure is where you find it both inside and outside work. Keeping true to this I have:• Charted new courses and created “firsts” for the companies and organizations where I’ve worked.• Adapted and thrived in various environments; tech, non-tech, large, and small always trying to put a positive spin on situations and create great experiences for those I’ve encountered.• Consistently learned and challenged myself personally and professionallyIt has been a fun journey. In my current and future endeavors I want to continue to; dream, translate vision into reality, remain creative, search for opportunities big and small, engage people, and create great stories that can live long after me.Outside of work I am actively involved in organizations such as Surfrider Foundation, Wounded Warriors, a local high school alpine ski racing program, and a local organization that provides surfing instruction to kids. It’s all about making the Big Blue Marble a better place for all of us. Many have given so much yet have asked for nothing in return. It is fun to give back. Specialties:Product Management, Product Marketing, Go to Market Planning/Execution, Idea Generation/Creative, Product/Solution Lifecycle Planning, Product Strategy, SaaS/Cloud based solution, Solution Implementation, Enterprise solutions, Point of Sale Activation, Business Model Creation, Partner management, 3rd party technology integrations, Cross Functional Team Management, Brand Creation, Crafting Content, Community Engagement.
