I started my working life in the field of Recreation. My passion for working with children led me to positions with municipal community centres and the Vancouver School Board where I managed district-wide fine arts and athletic events for students.The leap to the field of Marketing began with a role in community relations with McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada where I developed local marketing plans for downtown Vancouver restaurants. Switching to agency-side as an account executive with Palmer Jarvis Advertising, I succeeded in strategy, client relationships and overseeing advertising campaigns for clients.Then another 15 years went by quickly, devoting my time to a family direct marketing business J.S. Direct.For 9 years I was fortunate to spend my time working, skiing and snowshoeing at Mt Seymour Resorts in North Vancouver. See you on the slopes!
