Clarivate Analytics was a $1Bn software company sold to private equity as the former IP & Science division of Thomson Reuters. I was brought in to develop product and information security functions as well as build and execute information security compliance strategy. Additionally, I worked cross-functionally to ensure that security was integrated into all separation work streams during the transition. Recruited to direct the company’s security during transition to the cloud, I returned to Autodesk in 2012. Autodesk is a $2.5Bn Cloud Service Provider and global leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software. As part of the executive steering committee, I established and supported a centralized information security governance structure. I led efforts to move into the cloud, offer services the company had to manage and expand into mobile.► Assisted in driving the company’s business model transformation, from perpetual licensing to a subscription model, with a platform transformation to provide cloud services and expanded access via a mobile platform.► Developed and delivered 3-year roadmap and strategy to transform the company’s high-risk, low-security environment and to safeguard company assets, data privacy, intellectual property, sensitive data and business systems. ► Transformed customers’ perception of and instilled confidence in cloud-based products by layering core security functionality and compliance into products which was communicated to customers through the sales cycle.► Establish product security program, creating the company's first Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) integrated with Agile software development.► Directed risk management efforts including creating processes to deal with incident-response; grew incident management capability into the most sophisticated response process in any area of the company.

For Genentech, I delivered technology leadership to enable the world’s leading biotech company to support the discovery, development, manufacture and commercialization of next-generation biotherapeutics. I oversaw global operations and engineering teams within a 15,000-employee division.
