Adumo is South Africa's largest independent payments processor, specializing in a comprehensive suite of financial technology solutions. Our offerings span from standalone and integrated payment hardware to integrated acquiring services, alternative payment methods like Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and mobile QR, as well as merchant lending and point-of-sale solutions through our proprietary brands, GAAP and Humble.Driving technology transformations is my primary focus. We've continued the rollout of key systems, including centralised CRM and ERP that serve as the operational backbone for both client interactions and internal processes. The goal is to create a cohesive, scalable tech ecosystem aligned with our business objectives. In addition to tech, I also run our client services team, ensuring that our call center operations align with the high standards we set across customer touchpoints.

I joined Sureswipe as a consultant to rollout new technology platforms, focusing on Salesforce, ERP and iPaaS. The project was a success - on time and under budget. This wasn't just a technical overhaul; it was a talent transformation. We built an internal Salesforce team that runs an org to be proud of, focusing on vanilla functionality, config over code and limited customizations across key products like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Employee Apps, CPQ and Digital Engagement for WhatsApp and OmniChannel.The tech transformation didn't stop there. We rolled out Microsoft Business Central to 18 of our group companies, integrating some instances with Salesforce. Efficiency was the name of the game, and we achieved it not just through software but also through automation. Using UiPath RPA as a proof-of-concept and route planning software, we reduced manual tasks, allowing teams to focus more on client interactions while reducing costs.My role expanded quickly, and I joined the senior leadership team, overseeing Operations and Client Service in addition to technology platforms. I served as acting MD for a 3 month period before a promotion to CXO at Adumo.

‘Salesforce Innovator of the Year 2019 - South Africa’ and speaking at Dreamforce 2018 were two career highlights that I will always remember. It was a journey to build our consultancy up to that point and I was proud to have founded Tetrad all those years before. It is every entrepreneur's dream to create a business that has value and it was wonderful to sell my equity and successfully exit at the end of 2019.In the early years, we had the opportunity to work on most of the large Oracle Siebel implementations in South Africa. Our business gained enterprise experience in areas such as Finance, Telecoms, Media and Industry.A move to Salesforce allowed Tetrad to quickly rise up the ranks and quickly recognized as a top partner. In 2016, Tetrad was invited to be one of three Salesforce Resellers, further boosting our partner status. We hired the brightest and best, and provided an environment to do great work. We earned a reputation of delivering high quality and innovative solutions.

Post university before moving overseas: Developed small database applications and webpages
