I am a full time freelance Japanese to English Translator working in the Kanto area. I am interested in hearing from translation agencies with offices in Japan. Please do not contact me here for professional reasons if you do not have offices in Japan.My professional experience includes numerous business and web related activities in Japan, including web site planning, development, and coding (server and client), basic database development, some software application development, Japanese interactive TV program planning and interactive broadcast application coding (in Japan's proprietary BML/Ecma Script format), interface design, sales and marketing, project and team management, brief experience as a company director, planning and executing symposiums for trade organisations and companies, Japanese to English interpretation and translation, public speaking, backstage coordination for entertainment events, hosting entertainment events, professional live streaming services, performing music, and even narration and modeling.I currently focus on local community development as an avocation while earning as a freelance Japanese to English translator. I also play Saxaphone in the band Kamakura Imagine BonOdori-bu, a group which brings the traditional summer "bon-odori" festival into the modern era by performing the music with a live band including full rhythm section and adding a fusion of modern rhythms. The group has become highly sought after for summer festivals throughout Japan. I also previously performed for three years with Love Farmers, one of Tokiko Katoh's recent units (Tokiko Katoh has been a household name in Japan as a pop singer/songwriter since the 60s).I have extensive hands on experience in growing rice through wet field rice farming from managing my own paddies for three years and helping other farmers in the community.Specialties: Bilingual speaking and reading/writing ability in English (native) and Japanese (near native), experienced in Japanese business etiquette. I am able to grasp the essentials of any new technology or domain due to my wide range of past experience and numerous jobs in which I served as an "expert" in often vastly different fields.
