Responsible for Project and Programme managing a number of new office IT fit-outs across EMEA, as part of Morgan Stanley’s business expansion strategy working in conjunction with Corporate Services and Real Estate.• Managed project teams varying from 20 to 100 people across EI and was responsible for the implementation of all technologies including Telco, Servers, Storage and Desktops with an overall IT budgets varying from $365k to $8M including both hardware and manpower. • Responsible for all budget/deliverables/resources and liaison with senior stakeholders throughout. One program consisted of multiple complex projects for the building of office space (some interim) for a total of 1600 users and the relocation of 1200 users from two of the interim buildings into a purpose built office before decommissioning the interim space. • Worked closely with the European Head of Support Services and external vendors to provide a technology support model to maintain the offices as business as usual on conclusion of the project.

Responsible for a number of technical projects using Unix Infrastructure.• Managed the build out of Unix servers to support back end processes and the commission of 500 Solaris desktops on to the trader’s desks to support the moving of the Fixed Income Division trade floor.• Project managed the rollout of Veritas Netbackup across Europe, replacing the legacy Legato Networker application used to manage backups and the upgrade of tape technology. Sole responsibility for designing, building and managing the migration, leading a matrix team of Unix and Windows System Administrators. Negotiated contracts with external vendors for the supply of hardware and tape storage.
