I'm the President/Managing Director with Westport One, a recruitment firm that specializes in Senior Living, Information Technology, and Financial Services/Banking, with my direct focus being Senior Living. I began my career with Westport One in 1997. I made my first placement within 9 days of starting and I haven't stopped! In August 2000, I achieved the status of a CSAM, or Certified Senior Account Manager. This is a distinction held by less than 10% of the recruiters in the system. In April of 2002, I was promoted to the role of VP of Operations. My primary focus was the growth of the organization, the training and development of our search professionals, and all technical aspects. At that time, I achieved the status of CSM, or Certified Senior Manager.In 2015, I became the Managing Partner of my firm. I take pride in the tremendous growth that Westport One has achieved. Westport One has ranked in the top 10 for many years. This is attributed to the incredible team of specialists that have dedicated themselves to being the best in the business. At the International Pacesetter trip in Curacao in March 2017, I was honored with the 2016 Alan R. Schonberg Person of the Year. Winning an award named after the founder of MRINetwork was a truly humbling experience.I believe greatly in giving back. I was the President of the MRINetwork Charitable Foundation that supports Shriners Hospital for Children for 3 years, and continue to support them in every way possible to this day. I am also a board member for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. I'm also a Bridge the Gap Senior Living Podcast Ambassador and podcast Contributor. I believe in helping the Senior Living industry in every way possible.Life is not all work!
