As a manager within Meter Data Management, I oversee metering compliance in all aspect that impact customer development through to data collection. I evaluate and manage vendor relationships, and internal clerical and technical business teams to ensure effective and efficient operations. My responsibilities include delivering annual new suite metering installations and all aspects pertaining to collecting, validating and estimation of meter data to facilitate highly accurate and timely billing. I oversee the operation of Toronto Hydro's Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management (MDM) systems to facilitate the daily data collection from over 800,000 electricity meters. I also act as a business liaison working with the IT Project and Support teams to initiate, plan and implement new AMI systems and upgrades to improve business productivity with minimal disruption to business operations. I manage continual change in processes resulting from a high degree of reliance on systems and supporting applications. Other responsibilities include coordination of operational troubleshooting/incident resolution with IT and various development and support teams as well as managing external meter reading vendors and services.
