The new system completes accrued revenue calculations in less than an hour, where old system yielded an answer after almost two weeks of staff time.

Responsible for Laboratory Information System used by the Pathology and Laboratory Operations teams centered in Irvine, CA and Brentwood, TN locations of US LABS. Coordinated IT solutions for another LabCorp company located in Stratford, CT (Dianon Systems). Notable Accomplishments:• Project Leader: Conversion of Esoterix Oncology sites to US LABS Resulting and Reporting SystemsLed the team that implemented the changes in the US LABS resulting and reporting systems necessary to bring on the former Esoterix Oncology sites. This required gaining detailed knowledge of existing processes and systems in order to accommodate process and operational differences between the sites. Project was completed on time.• Project Leader: Invoice RedesignLed the team that implemented a new client invoice that resulted in increased customer satisfaction and improved the company’s ability to collect client-billed accessions• Technical Manager: Implementation of a new Flow Cytometry resulting and reporting system.Implemented a new analysis and reporting system for the Flow Cytometry lab, integrating with a 3rd party analysis tool (FCS Express), that further automated a very manual process and resulted in increased throughput from the lab, reduction in data entry errors, improved pathology reporting and increased standardization of patient reports.• Awards: Nominated by peers and received awards for Leadership, Project Excellence, and Internal Customer Service.

Designed, developed, managed and rolled out a new version of the foundation's award winning (Computerworld/Smithsonian, WIRED, Tech Museum awards) signature product with increased functionality and potential market, at a 75% cost savings over the prior version. The new system replaced proprietary hardware, software and networking in 95 hospitals with a standards-based Internet-enabled solution. Evaluated, selected and managed outside vendors for development, turnkey solutions, user interface design and network hosting and management.

Consulted in the sales cycle to provide technical guidance, project feasibility, scope and budget.

Managed a group of QuickStart consultants, architected and developed significant pieces of software for various clients. Was primarily deployed on a $45MM project for a major quick-service restaurant chain implementing both new software and process improvements.
