The role involved direct responsibility for two BP-internal teams, one managing environments and releases and the other developing Excel/Business Objects reports, as well as matrix management roles covering 16 BP staff (including 4 Project Managers) and the 55-strong Infosys team. Direct budget accountability $2.4m.Central to the role was the definition and implementation of a change programme for the Technical Delivery area. This established sustained and measurable improvements in productivity, workflow processes and delivered quality. Automated testing and a new iterative development process were introduced. -
