I am an experienced IT professional with expertise in desktop support, server administration, network support, application programming, and web development. I have provided support for various aspects of IT, including printer support, desktop systems setup and configuration, and troubleshooting issues that arise with users' machines. I have also handled the setup and support of Windows-based servers, including file/print, Exchange E-Mail, and Active Directory servers.In addition to server administration, I am skilled in network support and have experience with firewalls, spam/phishing filters, and internet connections. Additionally, I have built various PBXs that utilize VoIP phones to replace aging PBXs. One notable project I completed was the relocation of the IT infrastructure (servers, networking equipment, internet lines, etc) to a new facility. Web site support and programming of online registration and backend event planner.In 2011 I completed a migration from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2 for our file and print servers, mail server and active directory servers and migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.In 2012-13 I assisted with the construction planning of our new leased facility, vendor selection for our training and conference room AV, and planned out the IT infrastructure. This includes layout of the server room and racks, vendor selection for cable pulls, vendor selection for wireless networking equipment, and working with the vendors to layout the wired CAT6 cabling throughout our space. I built a new AsteriskNOW PBX and Snom 760 VoIP phones to replace our aging InterTel PBX.In the fall of 2013 I coordinated the move of our internet lines with our vendors and relocated our existing servers and networking equipment to the new facility. This includes racking the equipment, creating custom length CAT6 patch cables, patching our workstation network lines, and extending our T1 lines from the DEMARC to the server room. Built custom software for digital signage and designed a room signage and booking application system utilizing iPads for the digital sign.
