Chris is a Managing Director - Legal Assets at Global Restitution Partners, and is responsible for investment origination, client development, and end-to-end client support throughout the funding process. Chris has over fourteen years of experience litigating complex commercial disputes. Prior to joining GRP, Chris was a litigation partner at a leading international law firm, where his practice primarily focused on financial industry and private investment fund litigation, both domestically and off-shore. Having appeared regularly before international and domestic arbitral bodies, as well as a myriad of state and federal courts throughout the United States, Chris delivered successful litigation outcomes for a variety of clients in both plaintiff and defense-sided actions, including leading multinational corporations, institutional banks, and premiere funds, family offices, and investment managers. Well-known for the business-focused nature of his advice, clients routinely sought Chris out for early case assessments and assistance in navigating high-profile, nuanced problems.Long before litigation finance became mainstream, Chris’s varied law practice also involved counseling litigation funding participants on deal structuring, portfolio construction, and the regulatory and ethical frameworks attending to litigation finance.

Chris was a litigation partner in the Firm’s New York office and a member of the Financial Services Litigation Group. His practice focused on complex litigation and disputes in the financial industry sector and private investment fund space. Chris frequently represented financial institutions, hedge funds, fiduciaries, investment managers, and investors in a wide range of matters, inclusive of commercial cases, recovery actions, and litigation stemming from on-shore and off-shore liquidations. In his varied practice, Chris also developed deep experiencing representing boards of directors and companies of all sizes in asset-mismanagement and breach of fiduciary duty cases.
