Served as EEO Officer, Title VI and Diversity Manager role and managed benefit administration, employee relations, labor relations, drug and alcohol program, talent acquisition, records management, legal compliance (federal and state employment law, Federal Transit Administration (FTA), etc, full employee life cycle services and retiree benefit coordination.

Contracted by a wide range of both small and emerging industry start-ups, as well as a medium sized mature organizations in the Financial Services and Agriculture industries. Performed Interim Chief People Officer (CPO) duties reporting direclty to CEO or Executives business and people development. Organization sizes ranges from 100-450 employees.

Guided the compensation study, and made recommendations for pay increases and bonuses. Implemented a standard process for pay change requests to improve efficiency and timeliness of receipt by the employee. Improved the process to fill a job by providing the Talent Team early notice of the need and creating parallel processes that reduced the lead time to approve a hire by 3 months. Led Human Resources operations including Benefits and Compensation, EEOC/ADAA, Employee Relations, Systems, Records, Litigation and Talent Acquisition.

Led HR solutions for direct care services at Veteran’s Homes, Behavioral Health Institutes, Youth Corrections and Developmentally Disabled Homes and Work Units that administered state-wide human services programs. Served as project lead for the Time-to-Fill Jobs Lean project resulting in a reduction of time to fill direct care jobs by 60% company wide. Created and implemented a Workforce Planning Model, Recruitment Model and Toolkit. Designed, developed and implemented a Voluntary Separation Incentive Policy to deploy systematically across the business to mitigate the legal risk related to age discrimination. Re-engineered HR Technical Unit reducing the need for 2 FTE and repurposed the resources. Designed, developed and implemented Layoff Plans that impacted 347 FTE and coordinated the strategic resources for placement and retraining.
