T1Cure is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization with the mission of curing type one diabetes. Levicure is a start-up in Isreal focused on providing patients with type 1 diabetes (T1D) a safe and scalable oral medication that can lower insulin requirements and induce remission. Our patented combination therapy consists of two FDA approved drugs and GABA. A clinical proof-of-concept study in T1D patients and animal models demonstrated that the treatment could facilitate remission of T1D by restoring the body’s own insulin production, in some cases leading to complete insulin withdrawal in humans. This scalable treatment can provide T1D patients with a safe, non-invasive, orally administered medication that facilitates remission, reduces complications, and vastly improves quality of life.
