Managed 100+ staff and drove automation and technology upgrades to optimize operations across Purchasing, Inside Sales and Distribution, including 4 call centers in Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver and Montreal. Oversaw development of tools, systems and processes to better manage catalogue production, reduce costs and track performance circulation of 50,000 catalogues each quarterChampioned and led development of a XML-based purchasing and fulfilment system to automate most cost-effective fulfillment option across 25 Buyers and 4 Distribution Centres – solution reduced Buyers to 5, improved accuracy, streamlined fulfillment and strengthened customer serviceOpened 18 US branch offices within 6 months, including all IT, telephony, networks and furniture
