About Chris Hunt

As a lover of technology I would say I have been a techy since the age of 7 or 8. If you asked my parents where I was at that age they would tell you “he's in the garage probably electrocuting himself,” truthfully I likely was!… When I wasn't taking something apart I was putting something together and that has never changed in my life. I have been a professional in the I.T. industry since roughly 2004, servicing home computers on the side to a day job as an alarm tech for ADT. I.T. excited me, I found myself devouring books on Microsoft and Linux technologies, like a kid in a candy store I couldn't stop. The real fun began when I teamed up with a local IT guy in 2004 and we started helping businesses of all shapes and sizes leverage IT to grow their business. I found that I had a knack for helping guide folks by listening to their needs and presenting solutions with simplicity. Helping others discover the fun that technology has to offer and seeing someone experience that "ah ha" moment is a real treat that I am privileged enough to experience often. Today I lead a team of exceptional professionals that design and maintain a cloud of over 5000 virtual machines with service subscriptions of 40,000+ users. My hobbies include spending time with my family in any activity especially anything with a boat. I also attempt to play guitar, I like hiking, and of course I love to nerd out on new cool technology!
