The Income Advance Program is an innovative employee benefits program designed to support employees through financial emergencies and promote long-term financial wellness. As an Employer-Sponsored Small Dollar Loan initiative, it takes a dual-stakeholder approach: businesses offer the benefit to employees, while financial institutions fund the loans. Rhino Foods Foundation supports both parties, from initial idea development to establishing a sustainable program, and this approach has enabled the program's expansion to over 100 companies and five financial institutions in Vermont. Through building these partnerships, I support both the companies and lending institutions in standing up their program.

Working within the Department of Vocational Services to advance disability inclusion within the Maine business economy through building partnerships and relationships with companies across the state. The goal of this work it to build systems within companies which bridge the gap between sustainable employment and people with disabilities. Through this, I have co-built our Employer Services program, a consulting and education resource for businesses focused on workforce recruitment, retention and culture building.

Provided research assistance for Maine ZEM, an Affordable Housing start up focused on providing Affordable Net Zero homes for Mainers. Assisted with the business plan generation through researching competitors, potential funding streams and workforce development options.

Project details: Utilized a systems change mindset to research how Business Schools can transform their educational offerings through embedding Ashoka’s “Everyone a Changemaker” mindset. Our team Provided Ashoka with: in-depth market research, identification of changemakers within a variety of business schools around the world, and created a strategic recommendation plan for scaled impact. We Interviewed 34 esteemed faculty, staff, and deans to identify the barriers, challenges, and resources needed to change from a “traditional” business mindset to a social innovator focused business mindset.

Managed the Explorers, Children and Families program at Emmaus' D'Youville Center for Social Justice. I was responsible for capacity building and growing the program to be able to run sustainably without the need of an AmeriCorps VISTA in the future. Tasked include: partnership building, volunteer recruitment, volunteer engagement, volunteer management, grant writing, budgeting, marketing to program, working with homeless families and youth, creating a fun and safe space for children to learn, homework help, and more.

Managed 167 crews located throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas. I provided each crews leadership council with support, guidance, and resources needed to successfully network market the Love Your Melon brand. Along with working hard at this job, I was also a full-time student at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. Juggling the workload for both parts was a great learning experience, especially with regards to time management.

Responsibilities included: Sales (as a whole) for the Golf Club, managing the cart staff, member relations/member service, answering phones, setting up tee times, selling golf merchandise, positively manage the members, work with celebrities/former presidents.

Responsibilities included: sorting, organizing, and planning the school supplies portion of WB Mason's Portland branch. Each day my fellow intern and I would plan which schools were going to be shipped the following day, sort all the boxes by the respective school, check everything in, tally up inventory by school, and keep track off everything going in and out of the warehouse. I learned vital team building skills along with a fantastic look into a career in logistics.

Responsibilities included: checking guests in, taking reservations, handling money, making credit card transactions, selling rooms, managing marina, managing dock hands, creating housekeepers checklists, and making every guest as happy as possible through a positive attitude (which I love to do).
