•Acting as a subject matter consultant to support “Best of the Best” buying, merchandising and allocation systems migration/integration from Somerfield to Co-operative based in Manchester.•Carried out system gap analysis, designed, tested and implemented a companywide Store specific Ranging/Space and product allocation systems.•Supported the development of new business processes and embedding. •Designed, tested and implemented new applications where legacy systems could not be migrated. •Developed training programs and associated documentation.•Carried out training and post implementation support to 150 people across the Commercial team.•Developed key business critical reports via Business Objects.

•Ownership and Management of a Product Ranging system controlling range for 900 stores, 13,000 products within a £4.5 billion turnover business.•Provide timely & appropriate reports via Oracle Discoverer to the Trading Executive and Board.•Management and development of a team of 9 consisting of 3 managers and 6 coordinators.•Supported business requirements and projects as Subject Matter Expert of business systems.•Developed, monitored and refined business processes in order to increase sales & reduce costs.•Represented the Commercial team on Data Warehouse projects for MI reporting.•Actively managed risk by identifying & resolving issues.•Identified, developed and implemented enhancements to business systems to drive profits.

•Secondment to deliver a store specific Space/Range/Merchandising/Buying/Allocation platform.•Jointly owned phasing/resource plan with an overall budget of £4.2million. •Senior Business User representing the business on the Program Steering Board.•Developed Vision documents for each component of the system from a business perspective.•Reviewed Project Definition Reports for each deliverable of the system.•Worked closely with both on shore and off shore development teams to ensure functionality and quality met the required standards within budgeted costs.•Spent time working in India with 3rd party briefing in the vision and requirements.•Supported IT System Integration Testing prior to carrying out User Acceptance Testing.•Jointly managed the Program Project Plan.•Management of User Acceptance Testing team to deliver each component of the system.•As senior user of the system I was instrumental in a Business wide project called “Evolution”. Amongst other elements this saw the roll-out of the system to 900 Stores and 150 central users, reducing costs, increasing productivity and delivered over £30 million per annum profit.
