Chris is a Partner at Grant Thornton in the London Transactional Advisory Services team. Chris leads buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and vendor assist projects for a range of clients, including corporates and private equity funds. Chris has extensive experience of supporting clients with transactions across various sectors, with a focus on Business Support Services. Within this broad sector, Chris has supported a number of clients to complete deals within the management consulting, facilities management, managed print services, and clean energy sub-sectors. Chris has worked on a number of high profile transactions for large listed corporate clients as well as numerous mid-market transactions, and has developed expertise on various carve-out deals. In addition to leading diligence on transactions, Chris is the People Lead for UK TAS, delivering strategic and operational projects to ensure an excellent talent experience. Areas of focus include I&D, retention, training and development, people management, recruitment and inductions. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Chris was an Associate Director at Zolfo Cooper (now Alix Partners) in the Financial Advisory and Restructuring Services team, having been with the firm in London for ten years. During this period, Chris enjoyed a secondment with HSBC. Chris is ACA qualified and prior to joining Zolfo Cooper he achieved a first class BSc degree in Business, Economics & Finance from Loughborough University.
