Content Designer
CurrentResponsible for creating, evaluating, updating and reviewing content at all stages of the end-to-end user journey to support the delivery of Scotland’s benefits system. My role involves:• Working within an agile project team to develop user-centred content such as operational guidance, website copy and client notifications• Translating user needs and requirements into an appropriate content design approach• Creating and iterating content for end-to-end services that makes complex language and processes easy to understand• Supporting the development and implementation of content styles and standards• Contributing to the DDaT community by participating in events and reviewing processes, tools and guidance• Working with user researchers to understand users, identifying who they are and what their needs are based on evidence• Managing and monitoring relationships with stakeholders, using evidence to explain decisions made and balancing competing priorities
