People are the critical success factor to any successful project, and should not be underestimated.     Following the successful transformation of the HRSS, I was approached by the IT Managing Director to lead and implement a similar change project within the Customer Services Team and Service Desk within IT. During this time, 3 different Service Desks were unified, including onshoring the Desk from India, new ways of working were introduced, staffing levels were realigned to meet peak demand, and productivity of the out of hours shifts was enhanced. Portal based robotics were implemented, removing emails and reducing the the backlog of customer requests on the Service Desk by 80%. In addition I drove improvements in Customer Service Skills and employee engagement through improved communication and development initiatives.
