I have delivered HR projects on time, on budget with substantial (£m) financial benefits contributed to the bottom line in each of my client’s businesses. I quickly understand business strategy and goals and appreciate that ‘one size does not fit all’ when it comes to people. People are the critical success factor to any successful project, and should not be underestimated. Disengaged employees can significantly impact the bottom line. I can effectively lead and manage employee engagement, communication and change management, (including managing relationships with trade unions) which are integral components to the financial and operational success of any HR project. Customer Service Director - Corporate Shared ServicesSerco Jun 2016 - Sep 2017Hook, Hampshire, GbFollowing the successful transformation of the HRSS, I was approached by the IT Managing Director to lead and implement a similar change project within the Customer Services Team and Service Desk within IT. During this time, 3 different Service Desks were unified, including onshoring the Desk from India, new ways of working were introduced, staffing levels were realigned to meet peak demand, and productivity of the out of hours shifts was enhanced. Portal based robotics were implemented, removing emails and reducing the the backlog of customer requests on the Service Desk by 80%. In addition I drove improvements in Customer Service Skills and employee engagement through improved communication and development initiatives. -
Professional Services Director / Interim Managing Director Hr Shared ServicesSerco Apr 2012 - May 2016Hook, Hampshire, GbDuring this time, I held the positions of Professional Services Director & Transitions/ Transformation Director which involved operating and managing service delivery across the main HRSS functions e.g. People Services/ Case Management Team, Recruitment, Helpdesk, TUPE Transitions and Projects and Payroll.
