COO of Getech/Exprodat and Esri Partner Advisory Council (PAC) alumni, finding creative ways to solve business problems using software, data and science in the natural resources and energy sectors. My background is in geology, data management and GIS. I'm interested specifically in the application of geospatial mapping technologies such as ArcGIS to exploration and development challenges. I run Getech products and services business, and am also involved in marketing.By way of a potted history: I've been in the oil exploration and production industry since 1992 when I had a summer internship with Shell Expro in London, UK. This led to a further 4 years in Shell in a variety of positions which gave me an excellent grounding in the fundamentals of oil exploration processes and data management. Leaving Shell to join Landmark I honed my consulting and sub-surface interpretation application skills. In 2000 I joined Exprodat as a Senior Consultant, and was Technical Director between 2006 and 2016, leading Exprodat's software business and technical direction.
