Projects 1st, 2nd & 3rd Line SupportInstalls/re-locates/exchanges hardware on a variety of sites and undertakes full network configuration.Completes hardware and software upgrades and installations and appropriate network configurations, working with third party suppliers where required.Provides second line hardware/software support when responding to calls logged via the Service Desk. This can be either by telephone or by site visits.Provides additional support to the team to improve First Time Fix.Diagnoses and resolves faults arising from either new or existing configurations.Produces appropriate documentation to enable central records to be updated.As a member of a team, participate in and contribute to team briefings and activities including the passing on of technical knowledge and mentoring of less experienced staff. Within the commissioning process, undertakes quality control checks of hardware, performs live tests of systems and, by the addition of appropriate software and system customization to customers’ requirements.Assists with the maintenance of equipment inventory and stock control including maintaining stock levels and on-going audit requirements.Responsible for routine system administration of PC equipment as required, including assistance with planned maintenance tasks inc. backups. Where required, act as initial point of contact for fault diagnosis on designated systems.Conducts a preliminary review of all allocated incidents and confirms the appropriate response. Attends any site across the county to diagnose and repair faults on a wide range IT hardware/software.

Creating, Deleting and Amending Offshore user accounts and UK basedWorking on Orange in-house applications including: Databases which are web based Tiam, ULUM, CS Portal, LDAP. Other applications are Merlin, SAP, KEATerm, Active Directory, Remedy, Hyena, Lotus Notes and Office packages.Taking calls from Orange users and the Service desk. User administrator on the Service Desk. Handling admin requests that are sent in by Orange staff.
