Responsible for all company technologies to develop and maintain websites, customer service application, servers, networking, infrastructure tools, and desktop support.Manage on-site and offshore development teams. Oversee on-site team’s operation of company’s technical infrastructure, core website architecture, and website development. Oversee two offshore teams’ development of company’s websites and customer service application. Communicate daily with development teams utilizing Bugzilla, IM, and Skype. Work directly with CEO, President, and Vice President of Product Management to guide company’s business direction. Collaboration includes creating business requirements documentation, translating business requirements into design documentation, prototyping, introducing new technologies, and project management.Sites are built on Java with Struts, Tiles, JSP and Velocity. The database is MySQL with Apache/Tomcat running on Sun Solaris 10 using zones.

Responsible for automating the test life cycle of company’s products. Managed five in-house software engineers and oversaw multiple projects. Facilitated team’s knowledge of company’s products to assess test strategies. Guided team in determining automation vs. manual testing. Products for testing included the customer website, ISP client, VOIP client, application servers, databases, billing infrastructure, and software deployment process. Worked with various technology groups to gather business and technical requirements, generated design documents, and performed resource allocation. Managed budget for team and QA department lab.

Lead engineer for our ad serving system. Responsible for gathering business requirements, developing project plans, creating design documents, and then developing the code. The system was built with Java using JSP and Tag Libraries. The database was Oracle.
