Chris is the founder of Point Zero, a digital agency revolutionising the way products are promoted. He is a tech wizard who uses the latest in technology including holographic displays and virtual reality to push the boundaries of what is possible in promotional software. Chris’s background in computer science has influenced Point Zero to develop content that enables customers to learn about and engage with brands in innovative new ways.Chris Mather is a computer nerd in a suit. Growing up he was the oldest of his siblings and was always creating games to keep them entertained. Chris’s parents decided that computers were the way of the future and enrolled him in an experimental ICT course in primary school and sent him on his way with his bright orange iBook. He ignored the school curriculum and spent all his time building his first computer games in hyperstudio, they were such a hit he started selling the games to his fellow classmates and younger brothers. Creating his first company at the age of 13 called Fobco Limited to start selling his games, the company was named by his best friend at the time Ryan Loader. It was only later when Chris studied game design at Victoria University that he discovered he was a little strange and that he was the only one taking the course that didn't play games. For him making games was the game. Although Chris and Ryan had a falling out Ryan ended up transferring into the same degree, this lead to us working together on a commercial project and changing the name of the company we had formed 7 years earlier from Fobco Limited to One Legged Crab. Today Chris is the business head of the company but also heavily involved in the development and design of the games. It is no surprise Chris ended up as designer/businessman with his Mother being an artist and dad an accountant. Chris lives in a world of his own vision and hopes that his ideas for the world will one day become a reality.
