Chris Mollet brings corporate governance and strategic expertise to boards and health systems. He is committed to operational excellence and delivering the vision and execution required to steer organizations through positive change, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.Currently serving as a Board Member of three captive entities associated with Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare / EEH, SPC a Cayman segregated portfolio company, Chris has also served as a Board Member of several not-for-profit and tax-exempt organizations, as well as an elected Member and President of a public-school board. Most recently Corporate Secretary and Chief Legal Officer at Endeavor Health, Chris served on the Executive Team and held responsibility for all System legal matters and System Claims. He directed Internal Audit, Compliance and Privacy, as well as the South Region Office of Research Administration. He ran the System’s off-shore Captive Insurance Companies and System Insurance Programs. He coordinated all System Board and System Board Committee meetings and acted as Counsel to System Board, Board Chairman and Board Committees, including Nominating and Governance, Audit and Compliance, Finance, Compensation and Investment. Previously System Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Edward-Elmhurst Health Care and a member of its C-Suite, Chris provided legal and strategic advice on a wide variety of business matters. As Corporate Secretary, he handled various governance matters and coordinated Board of Directors and Board Committee meetings. He also led some key operational improvement initiatives, including a pandemic financial recovery effort.Earlier in his career, Chris served as a Co-Chief Executive Officer, Vice President of Human Resources, and Compliance Officer for an institutional pharmacy in a publicly traded environment. Chris has held adjunct faculty appointments at Loyola University College of Law, Chicago-Kent College of Law and the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing. Chris is also published and a respected speaker on legal compliance and ethics within health systems.Chris is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a BA and a JD. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Wisconsin.
