As DJ Tekn0tic I am a freelance, mobile DJ\VJ\KJ specializing in live performance, sound and lighting equipment and technical equipment setup\teardown and buildout. I current perform live mix shows twice a month at a local club and do online media production with video, stills and music.

Specializing in digital photography and videography and HD video. I used Adobe products to build-out and finish projects that are shot on-site or simply refinished\re-edited. Complete end-to-end multimedia production.

Assigned to the Enterprise Information Systems group at Bank of America in Addison, Tx.

I spent much of my time here as a .Net developer\architect but did many other extended projects including serve as the company's 'White Hat Hacker" providing security and hacking countermeasures services to the company as a whole. Other projects included PCI Compliance, Red Flag Rules Compliance, SharePoint 2007\2010 and various other more traditional development projects (WCF, C#, etc).

In this role I was responsible for supporting the company from all angles of IT but my particular focus was on the development of new business solutions for both the internal side of the company as well as the Client-facing applications and services. I was also responsible for setting up the development team, it's practices and procedures, SDLC, change management, standards and development environment. Additionally I was tasked with creating a new set of technology solutions to provide measurement of show attendees, booth effectiveness and year-over-year metrics. I also architected the software package that would provide automation and management tools for clients of Exhibitgroup and their shows. This role was challenging, rewarding and allowed me to utilize many of the latest technologies from Microsoft.

Originally contracted through Proceed Technology, Shortly after joining this company as a consultant I was moved from Software Developer to Architect and asked to assist in the refactoring and updating of the company's proprietary rewards program platform. Additionally, during the course of the redesign I was asked to help lead several small projects for the company's largest client, Sony Corporation. From this position I was presented with an offer for a FTE position and resigned from Proceed to accept it. My primary responsibility in this role was to redesign and reinvent the Sony Rewards web application using the company's proprietary rewards program platform. Leading a team of 10, I redesigned a bulky, outdated, buggy application with 700+ tables in the database to a flexible, efficient, robust application with a third-normal-form database around 175 tables. This was done in a rapid, highly concentrated effort requiring the fluid operation of a medium-sized development team.

My duties in this role began with supporting the ASP-classic version of the largest internet dating website, match.com. I was one of the 5 core architects that were responsible for re-inventing the entire application and converting it from the legacy platform, database and codebase to the newer .Net 1.0 platform with Windows Server and SQL Server 7.0. This conversion allowed us to reduce the web farm from over 150 web servers and 16 database servers to 45 web servers and 9 database servers. This position was the most expansive learning experience in my career and moved my career in the direction of architecture and leadership.

In this role I was responsible for taking a project from inception to delivery and support. We provided integration services and web-based solutions for Clients. These were either turn-key or hosted, supported applications. Primarily we focused on Microsoft-based solutions however we also delved into the JAVA arena and began hosting WebLogic solutions. This role was beneficial in learning effective SDLC and consulting techniques as well as Client management skills.

In this role I was responsible for the implementation of an eCommerce package to apply a front-end to the internal sales application called "SOLO" allowing B2B transactions and access. The solution used Microsoft's Site Server package as its core platform.

All the work for Nortel was Intranet-based. Our team's clients were the other internal business units and we would create applications or reporting systems or "homepages" or even pamphlet-ware to support the sales teams for our Clients.

I was contracted to support a large business unit for the Wireless division of Nortel. The assignment focused on their Intranet needs. I was responsible for interface design, development and deployment. This was an entry-level position but I was quickly offered an FTE position.

In this role I started out as a phone-based support engineer. I worked the opening night of the Windows 95 release and was considered an expert in all the Microsoft desktop platforms that were supported at the time. I wrote and presented some of the first training documentation for Internet Explorer 2.0. I was the only contractor assigned to administer the Escalation Team that worked on the most difficult and complex Customer issues. This team is known externally as the "Hotfix" group.
