I am striving to passionately honor God, lead my family, and serve others. I love Alicia, my wife of 29 years, and our 10 great kids, their spouses, and our 6 amazing grandkids. I am passionate about Foster Care, Adoption, and gospel ministry to the vulnerable. After 24 years of pastoral ministry, it was an honor to help recruit quality foster and adoptive families, support those families and the workers that serve with them, and bridge relationships among community stakeholders in my role as Special Advisor to Governor Matt Bevin and as the Executive Director of the Kentucky Governor's Office of Faith and Community Based Initiatives. It’s now an honor to challenge and equip churches to answer the gospel call to care for vulnerable children and to come alongside government and agency partners as a team member at Lifeline Children’s Services. Based in Birmingham, AL, Lifeline currently has offices in 19 states and serves in more than 35 countries. We seek to equip the body of Christ to manifest the gospel to vulnerable children, women, and families. I enjoy time with my family, reading, music, and sports, and I love cheering for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets!
