CurrentLead all aspects of the organization including a staff of six full-time employees, over a dozen part-time and contract staff, and a small army of volunteers. Responsibilities include the following:Talent buying for four separate venues including theater, outdoor stage, songwriter stage, and multi-day outdoor festival.Lead all marketing efforts including all social media platforms, digital, and traditional marketing channels. Liaison for all media related projects including PBS television, Public Radio, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, livestream partners, and others.General Manager for Bluegrass Unlimited magazine, a monthly subscription based print and digital publication with subscribers in all 50 states and 20 countries.Executive Producer for weekly television show, My Bluegrass Story, distributed nationally on RFD-TV.Lead all retail operations associated with the Hall of Fame including museum store, festival and special event merch, and e-commerce.Oversee exhibit development and care of the archival collection.Strategically drive development, fundraising, and grant writing.Oversee educational programing including Bluegrass in the Schools, instrument lesson programs, free instrument loan program, music camps, workshops, Bluegrass Band Project, and open jams.
