- Video Engineer for shows and events, both live and virtual, related to the Wexner Center for the Arts programming and other clients.- Designs, sets up, operates, and maintains professional video systems for theatres, livestream events, and multiple other venues.- Creates professional recordings in multiple formats; streams programs and other events onto various online platforms with accessibility accommodations included as needed.- Works with artists, programmers, and technical staff to design, implement, install, and tear down audiovisual designs using multiple formats and mediums.- Assists visiting designers at tech, rehearsals, and shows and fulfills designer requests.

 Manage audiovisual technology in all instructional spaces, studios, shops, and theaters in the Purnell Center for the Arts.  In charge of purchasing, installation, maintenance of classroom technology, as well as training faculty and students in proper usage.  Supervise graduate assistants and undergraduate media arts assistants who provide support with classroom technology as well as video projects, content creation, and event support. Provide technical and creative assistance to classes such as Acting for Camera, Through the Lens, and others that incorporate camera, lighting, and sound production elements.  Director of photography and lead technician for the pre-college Film Workshop. Assist faculty, staff, and students with video conferencing and remote teaching technology.  Maintain video workstations, software, and hardware in the Video Media Design lab. Provide technical support for School of Drama events, workshops, concerts, film screenings, and high-profile guests including numerous Oscar, Tony, and Emmy winners.  Manage video recording of all theatrical performances in the Purnell Center for the Arts, totaling over 20 shows per year.  Oversee editing, encoding, archiving, and distribution of all School of Drama video content.  Train students in proper set up and operation of cameras, microphones, monitors, and live switching equipment for multi-camera video recording of performances.  Manage video recording and live-streaming of special events such as commencement, awards ceremonies, virtual theater productions, and other special events utilizing OBS, Livestream Studio, Facebook Live, YouTube Premiere, Vimeo. Collaborate with fellow faculty, staff, and video production professionals to create original video content for website and social media platforms. Upgrade, install, maintain IP security cameras in the Purnell Center for the Arts.

 Provide post-production and distribution services for a wide array of content, ranging from popular television shows (Downton Abbey, 30 Rock) to animation (Pokemon, Naruto) to Oscar-nominated documentaries and foreign films (Last Days of Vietnam, The Act of Killing). Oversee mass market distribution of content to online video platforms such as iTunes, Netflix, Amazon, Google Play, Hulu and others.  Manage multiple digital media workstations utilizing audio and video editing tools, Mac and PC software and hardware, enterprise level encoders and processing tools. Establish efficient workflows for analysis, processing, encoding and distribution. Most importantly, establish quality control procedures to meet the stringent demands of aggregators, distributors, IPTV platforms and broadcasters. Develop and maintain extensive database of mezzanine level digital assets on fault-tolerant file servers, storing thousands of hours of content for clients that can be transcoded and delivered on demand.  Conduct frequent meetings and conference calls with global media companies and content providers such as A&E Networks, PBS, Cinedigm, Viz Media and ITVS. Train and supervise new employees and interns as well as advising and educating other departments when needed. Troubleshoot, repair and update audio and video equipment and computer hardware/software as needed. Research and replace outmoded equipment with more effective technologies Work directly with IT department in development and implementation of efficient and functional network structure able to handle terabytes of data throughput each day. Responsible for software, firmware and OS updates, HDD/SSD drive replacement, network connectivity issues, device management, and other issues related to maintenance and functioning of over 20 networked workstations and file servers.

-Directly assisted faculty and students with operation of audiovisual control systems and components. -Addressed and resolved classroom issues utilizing BMC Remedy 6.-Repaired malfunctioning equipment when possible and replaced when necessary. This included microphones, LCD and overhead projectors, power amps, loudspeakers, A/V wall plates, etc.-Established a working knowledge and use of Crestron and Extron control systems and components. -Installed LCD projectors, projection screens, power amplifiers, video players.-Supervised delivery and maintenance work-study staff.-Assisted with live production of special events, concerts and lectures.
