As Tacoma Power's Energy Imbalance Market Program Manager, I am responsible for the optimization and improvement of Tacoma Power's participation in the Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM). This includes the following:Lead cross-functional coordination across internal EIM stakeholders, operational teams, executive leadership, software vendors, and the California Independent System Operator (CAISO).Manage and supervise Tacoma Power's CAISO Markets Performance Team, which is a team of junior and senior analysts responsible for meter data management, settlements, invoicing, and CAISO market data analytics and process improvement.Manage Tacoma Power's EIM Management Framework, which consists of coordinating the activities of multiple advisory groups and steering teams.Receive, monitor, prioritize, and facilitate the resolution of risks and issues, or opportunities for improvement, raised through the EIM Management Framework. Act as the key liaison between Tacoma Power, the CAISO, and software vendors, representing Tacoma Power’s requirements and strategic goals in external development, enhancement, and road-mapping exercises.Take primary responsibility for building and sustaining positive and productive relationships across EIM stakeholders to ensure optimal communication and collaboration.
