In 2022 I completed my studies at NETA Training, gaining a distinction and double distinction grade in both my BTEC Level 3 Diploma and Extended Certificate in Engineering respectively. The specialised modules covered PLCs, electrical maintenance and testing, engineering theory, and an extensive focus on health and safety. I went on to work as a robotics technician at Synthotech LTD. My role primarily focused on building, upgrading & repairing innovative live pressure gas main survey & seal robots, helping avoid excessive excavation costs for the UK’s gas distribution networks. My experience here greatly expanded my practical mechanical and electronic knowledge.I am now currently working towards my power engineering foundation degree after gaining employment with Northern Powergrid as a electrical power network engineer apprentice. I am excited to be taking my education to the next step and looking forward to the many new experiences working here!
