Chris' leadership journey has been underpinned by his passion for improving equity, diversity and inclusion outcomes, leadership development as well as helping to shape and influence the future of work, particular through the perspective of small business. In his extensive executive career, Chris served on both global and national sub-committees relating to the above areas while holding a variety of executive leadership roles in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia over 20+ years.In 2023, Chris founded Talent Horizon to provide a range of advisory services to customers who are invested in developing their most important asset - their people. The business offers both consulting and advisory board services to a range of clients.Chris has also founded a coaching business, Profit Acceleration Partners, to help small business owners sustainably grow their revenue and profits and achieve their dreams. Utilising an internationally proven software platform to help maximise their business potential.Prior to this, Chris was responsible for all Western Australian operations for Hays, a multinational listed recruitment company. In this role he oversaw service delivery for up to 1000 companies across the public, private and not for profit sectors. This included the oversight of a contingent workforce of 2000+ contractors and 130+ internal staff across multiple offices. Concurrently, Chris was the ANZ Director for a number of Hays' specialist service lines which involved the strategic oversight for talent and client acquisition, key account leadership and public relations. In 2021, Chris was also appointed the inaugural Chair of "Hays Helps" in Australia & New Zealand. In this role he was tasked with the governance of the global strategy and implementation of Hays' charitable partnerships and corporate volunteering initiatives. Hays PLC is FTSE listed and employs more than 8000 staff operating in 33 countries.Chris has also served as a Non-Executive Director on several Boards in disability, education and community leadership as well as a number of external reference groups and steering committees. He currently sits on the boards of the Disability Services Commission, Leadership WA and is an Advisory Board Member of PwDWA (People with Disabilities WA).
