Responsible for maintenance operations in 6 manufacturing plants- including injection molding machines up to 9000 tons, custom assembly machinery, support equipment, robotics, & buildings. Supervised and directed skilled trades department on multiple shifts with focus on training, safety, and equipment improvement initiatives. Responsible for overseeing equipment inventory processes & control, preventative maintenance programs, and production maintenance support.

Responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving a variety of steel forming & stamping presses as well as custom built automation cells, paint lines, & laser cutting equipment. Troubleshoot and program Allen Bradley PLC 2, PLC 5, SLC 500, & MicroLogix controllers. Heavily involved in extensive machine improvements on older equipment involving updating and improving all aspects of machine controls.

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, & improving custom built automated equipment as well as injection molding machines, 3 & 6 axis robots, & support equipment. Trained apprentice maintenance personnel. Daily activities included troubleshooting & programming PLC’s, HMI’s, & vision systems, maintaining electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, & mechanical custom automated machinery.
