I began working in libraries as an undergrad at the Rochester Instiute of Technology more than 25 years ago and have accumulated career experience in academic and public libraries. I served as the Head of Access Services at Connelly Library on La Salle University's main campus from 2001 until 2016. During my time at La Salle's Connelly Library, I managed public operations under circulation services, oversaw the use of library spaces, coordinated building security with the Public Safety Department, assisted with library systems updates and maintenance, played an integral role in establishing and maintaing the La Salle Digital Commons. I also took on added responsibilities outside of the library teaching ENG 110 College Writing I: Persuasion, from 2011 through 2015. I left my positions at La Salle University to acept a position as Director of Libraries for Tredyffrin Township in Wayne, PA. In this role, I managed operations at the main library and a small branch library. I administered library services, worked with the Library Board of Trustees to develop and implement library policy, represented Tredyffrin Township Libraries at Chester County Library System meetings, worked with the Library Board and Township to draft and implement the annual budget, and worked with the Tredyffrin Township Library Foudation to address fundraising needs. I left my position with Tredyffrin Township in late 2022 to accept a position as Assistant Director, Library Finance and Acquisitions Services at Princeton University Library. In my current role, I provide financial oversight for ordering and purchasing for all campus libraries, work with subject selectors to manage funding for collections, and work with library department managers on budgeting and achieving financial objectives. I ensure recordkeeping and document compliance in accordance with guidelines set forth by Princeton University’s Finance and Treasury Department. I oversee invoice processing, review and approve requisition requests and voucher payments while overseeing projects that improve workflows and communication between subject selectors, library acquisitions, and cataloging.
