I was responsible for curriculum development and government relations for a group of private career/vocational education schools.

I was responsible for Correctional Management, the NIC/NAC flagship training program for corrections executives from throughout the United States. This involved selecting training participants, managing a team of 8 training consultants and redesigning the program curriculum. I also developed a number of specialized training programs for community-based.

I was responsible for working with local community-based organizations delivering services to convicted felons on parole and probation, especially related to chemical dependency, mental health and employment. This involved training, facilitating, consulting, grant writing, grant management, advocacy and managing a staff of 4 people.

Provided training services on behalf of the National Institute of Drug Abuse and Ohio Bureau of Drug Abuse related to chemical dependency, group facilitation and training skills.

Assisted in managing a team of 5 parole board investigators and conducted parole board and other specialized investigations.

I supervised a caseload of convicted felons on parole or probation and conducted pre- and post- sentence investigations. This involved balancing law enforcement and and social work skills, as well as working with community agencies that provided services to people on the caseload.
