SR Global is a highly respected security company operating in California. The main duties of the Security Officer position are as follows: to ensure safety and protection of all patrons at any facility we are contracted at, routine patrols through selected areas, act as a first line of defense and potential deterrent, and to be a friendly face to help the public.

The main duties of this position left me in charge of distributing all camping and day passes for the current day. Other responsibilities include informing the patrons or campers about any updates on local wildlife, weather, tides, and potential hazards to avoid or sights to see. Another duty is to promote a clean and friendly beach. We run a Junior Ranger Program as well as a “Litter-Getter” program, which inspires youths to clean up the parks for prizes. The Junior Ranger Program is designed to spark their interests and passions towards the environment, community and how we should be treating them correctly.

I manage the day to day business of a surf shack in Malibu as well as coordinating lessons, tours, and rentals. As well as delegating duties to other staff, I handle all scheduling, transactions, phone calls, review all condition of equipments, review staff performances, assist in making sure all hours for payroll are accurate, etc.

Worked closely with camera department, assisted in set lighting and built rigs for any camera movement. This job has given me the ability to work around professional sets and actors, as well as the knowledge of how to work in a very fast-pace environment.

Great experience in customer service and hospitality. Duties included managing booking software, phones, reservations, customer inquiries, cleaning staff, check ins and check outs, payments, etc.

Taught swim to all age groups. Worked closely with parents to make sure all questions were answered and that the student was making great progress.

Mainly worked in the Pets Hotel working with and taking care of the animals.

My responsibility was being the first responder for any emergency at the facility. I had to know the ins and outs as well as be quick on my feet. Many of the situations were life threatening.
