Used by Executive Leadership, this new organizational change replaced the static Excel-based tracking, streamlining the workflow for a process that costs the company upwards of $100 million per year in railroad service budgets.Developed proprietary hardware to measure railroad curvature and LLLE clearance scans using Python, Raspberry Pi, IMU sensors, and LIDAR sensors saving the company upwards of 81% of man-hours needed for manual clearance measurements per project.Automated document filing with error correction for onboarding new hire electricians on Power Automate using the Encodian API, saving one hour per user and saving the company upwards of $20,000 yearly in hourly wage.Conducted research and provided support on new construction technologies being pursued and implemented by the Innovation Group, including Procore, 3D photo-documentation software/hardware (Matterport and OpenSpace) and asset management systems (EZOffice).Spearheaded research on operational and technical specifications for the in-pursuit project of MTA Contract C-32520 Platform Screen Door Pilot Installation, a contract value of over $100 million.Assisted with the development of a company patent for Automated Megger Testing hardware.
