I lead a team of three writers to develop and execute promotional campaigns for marketing initiatives of a nationally ranked engineering consulting firm. By effectively managing an editorial calendar, I ensure cadence of relevant content developed with subject matter experts that is distributed across multiple external and internal media channels. I also collaborate on marketing strategy and support our proposal team with training and content. My current quest is to learn more each day about the needs and concerns of our clients so that we can support their efforts to make electric power safe, resilient, reliable and increasingly renewable.

I supported a diverse group of nationally-ranked knowledge partners to the energy industry. My content development and project management skills helped our experts raise awareness of the innovative solutions they accomplished with our clients on a broad portfolio of projects. I contributed articles to industry publications, edited and published proposals, developed conference expo strategies, moderated webinars and created content for collateral, internal publications, POWER's website and more. I trained youth and adults one-on-one in 28 cognitive procedures so they could think, read, compute, and learn better. Using a wide array of positive, intense and challenging brain exercises, I helped students maintain their attention longer, block out distractions, improve focus, process faster, comprehend more fully, strengthen their memory, solve problems, read faster (with less fatigue), listen more accurately, and become more successful in school and life. One of my most important tasks was to encourage these students and help them believe how truly wonderful they are.

I had the pleasure of leading a team of cause-driven professionals to advance the Y 's mission of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility by cultivating, retaining and increasing philanthropic support. It was my privilege to invite donors to play an essential role in positively changing lives and making communities better places in which to live. As senior director, my team and I successfully outperformed budget for annual support and capital campaigns, and increased contributions through endowment giving, grant awards and sponsorships.

Idaho Believes

I raised awareness and $100,000+ annually in southwestern Idaho through marketing, communication and public relations for a global non-profit organization that transforms lives through the gift of mobility in 91 developing countries. I coordinated multicultural volunteer teams to promote fundraising campaigns in churches, schools and businesses in southwestern Idaho through live presentations, collateral material and displays. I created and managed social media, newsletter, mass email and blog content or our local advocacy group, Idaho Believes!
