Actively lead containment activities to minimize supplied part quality impact to the plants by championing support for formal 8D problem solving containment, root cause, and corrective action documentation. Validate supplier design of product and processes using AIAG PPAP process. Implement and monitor part conformance via annual supplier audits. Responsible for supporting the gear and shaft deck in pursuit of identifying and developing new sub-tier supplier business opportunities. Additionally, I aided the launch of new key Allison products and led cost-avoidance initiatives currently under development within the Global Procurement team.

Responsible for the maintenance and establishment of manufacturing methods for Allison's commercial transmissions. I developed manufacturing systems with a focus on continuous improvement related to quality and throughput capability of production equipment. The work was highly technical and required application of knowledge of product design fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials to provide technical support for plant operations.My role had a specialization in manufacturing processes related to gear generation including hobbing, shaping, shaving, grinding, chamfering, and general machining processes.

Development of Allison's newest experimental transmission programs. I improved and developed new transmission component and sub-system designs using sound engineering principles, GD&T and tolerance stacks. Designed new part concepts in CAD, reviewed FEA results, and made design judgements based on those results. Developed a solid understanding of the manufacturing and assembly impacts to design. I worked with suppliers, purchasing, and supplier quality engineers to support cost reduction, sourcing decisions and design changes.My primary responsibility was in the design of a hydraulic lubrication priority manifold system that allowed a transmission to redirect transmission fluid for cooling and lubrication according to flow requirements at each given operating point.

Responsible for planning, managing, developing, and overseeing the execution of test procedures, data collection, and analysis. The role involved testing/analyzing various powertrain systems/sub-systems in a test cell and vehicle level environment. I standardized procedures, configured test systems, collected and analyzed test data, wrote test reports, and worked as an interface between internal/external business partners and support personnel. The role provided opportunity for hands-on involvement with Allison products, industrial test equipment, test operating controls systems, and powertrain systems including high horsepower engines, input and output dynamometers, propulsion systems, drivelines, heat exchangers, and cooling systems.I tested new hardware for the Advanced Product Engineering team with a focus on hydraulic controls testing and verification of valve body function in the development of two experimental transmission programs through extensive testing and design iteration.

The Red Woof Lodge offers pet care, boarding, kennel baths, doggie day care and training for dogs in need of temporary housing while their owner is away.As a Kennel Technician, I oversaw the care and treatment of these dogs and the facility. I actively worked to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day procedures including cleaning, animal hygiene, and customer service.

Mosby Pool is a public pool, run by the Parks and Recreation Department of Evansville, Indiana.As a pool cashier, my role was to manage the front cash register, grant entrance to patrons, and enforce Evansville City pool rules during hours of operation.
