With a cinematic portfolio spanning across multiple decades, I have a thorough grasp on my superpower— an unyielding curiosity and innate desire to delve deep into the rich tapestry of human experiences, and keen ability to distill the discoveries into cinematic stories for all to digest. My passion to explore with an open mind and empathetic heart is the cornerstone of a body of work which oozes with authenticity and resonates on a profound level. I translate this superpower and depth of experience into impactful commercial projects, enabling brands and businesses to forge genuine connections with their audiences through purpose-driven storytelling.In 2017, feeling a desire to explore my lifetime of interest in fictional storytelling, I co-founded the Assorted Kinds short filmmaking collective where I produced 25 fictional short films in 3 years, many of which found global acclaim through film festivals and media outlets. Within this experience I began writing and directing my own thought-provoking short films, often exploring the intricate landscapes of societal nuance and challenging audiences to confront and contemplate the complex issues that define our modern relationships.In 2022 I embarked upon my first feature film production by co-producing “The Deep Dark”, a psychological horror film set against the backdrop of an eerie October Lake Michigan, currently in Post Production.In 2024 I am helping my partner to produce her first feature film entitled "Beach House", a psychological coming of age story about a young Chinese American girl exploring her identity from within her sub conscious understanding of her life experiences.Life is good.
